Asda Fund-raising Bag-Pack September 2014
Thank you to all of our club youngsters and their parents for assisting with our latest bag-pack. On September 27th they all once again visited the Asda Store on Kingswood to collect money for the Kids Christmas Bowling Day to be held on the 6th December. Although numbers of bag-packers were down compared to previous years, those who attended did extra shifts in an attempt to raise enough funds to cover the cost of the bowling event. Everyone did a fantastic job and as a result raised £719.14 for the cause. The usual guess the amount game was conducted, and we had some very close guesses on this occasion, with the closest winning guesses being £760 From Marie C for the adult prize, £40.86 off the total, and an amazing £720 from Tomasso Concass for the junior prize. Just 86pence off the total.
Thank you once again to everyone for helping make the Kids Christmas Bowling Day possible, particularly Steve Bell for organising and running the event.
